 Fantastic Sun Hat |

We purchased this hat for my baby daughter when she was about 6 months old. We have used it constantly for the last 5 months and it is in perfect shape. We use this hat for all of our outside activities (walks, playground etc.) as well as in the pool; it gets wet and dries back out quickly, but does not seem to make her head hot or sweaty. So far it shows no signs of wear at all.
My daughter asks for "Hat!" when she wants to go outside and seems quite content to wear it. The adjustable band and slightly stretchy fabric make it easy to fit her head and the hat stays on well (unless she gets bored and takes it off to play with). The straps on ours do not fasten as shown in the product picture; they simply tie under the chin. We actually only use the chinstrap in high winds; we keep it tucked up behind most days. The hat is very lightweight and soft. Best of all it looks absolutely adorable.

| This hat was well worth the money; great brim size that didn't droop in baby's face, it kept her from getting pink and it has the velcro strap. The complaints I have is that for an infant size hat, it was rather large (it fit my daughter perfectly in the crown and she's 19 mos! Plus the velcro strap was really loose on her so it would've been huge on a younger child.) Also, when it gets wet its rather heavy and the brim falls down, covering the face. |
The hat is great. The strap is useless.

| I bought the toddler version without the strap for my 3 year old and love it. It stays on great without a strap. For my 16 month old I got this infant size hat and the hat itself is a great material like the toddler hat but the strap is way too big and just hangs in her way below her chin. There is no way she would ever grow into the strap before outgrowing the hat. My daughter hated wearing the hat, which doesn't say much because she hates all hats, but while it was on her I think the brim was too big for her to be able to see well. I recommend their toddler hat for older kids but not this infant one. |

| I wish they sold this in sizes rather than infant/toddler. This hat is way too big for my 4 month old daughter, and will just slip down over her eyes and make her mad. I am returning it unused. |
