Cute pants but expensive shipping

The pants came relatively quickly and are cute, but the shipping was too expensive for the product. The shipping was almost as much as the pants themselves. They came in a small envelope so I don't understand why shipping was as much as it was. Good product but b/c they are Carter's and sold other places, will look elsewhere before buying from this seller again.
